THE HUMAN HEART SERMON: Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

Who can understand the human heart? There is nothing else so deceitful; it is too sick to be healed. The Lord searches human minds and test human hearts. He treat each one according to the way he lives, according to what he does. Don't you understand that anything that goes into a person's mouth goes into his stomach and then comes out of his body but the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart and these are the things that make a person ritually unclean, for from his heart comes the evil ideas which lead him to kill, commit adultery and do other immoral things; to rob, lie, and slander others. Therefore, Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.

Try to learn what pleases the Lord. Have nothing to do with the worthless things that people do, things that belong to the darkness. Instead, bring them out to the light. It is really too shameful even to talk about the things they do in secret. And when all things are brought out to the light, then their true nature is clearly revealed; So be careful how you live. Don't live like ignorant people, but like wise people. Make good use of every opportunity you have, because these are evil days. Don't be fools, then, but try to find out what the Lord wants you to do. Do not get drunk with wine, which will only ruin you; instead, be filled with the Spirit.

To have good fruit you must have a healthy tree; if you have a poor tree, you will have bad fruit. A tree is known by the kind of fruit it bears. You snakes, how can you say good things when you are evil? For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. A good person brings good things out of a treasure of good things; a bad person brings bad things out of a treasure of bad things. You can be sure that on Judgement Day everyone will have to give account of every useless word he has ever spoken. Your words will be used to judge you to declare you either innocent or guilty.

Therefore, Christ's message in all its richness must live in your hearts. Teach and instruct each other with all wisdom. Sing psalms, hymns and sacred songs; sing to God with thanksgiving in your hearts. Everything you do or say then should be done in the name of the Lord Jesus, as you give thanks through him to God the Father.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is; his good, pleasing and perfect will. Be sure that the book of the Law is always read in your worship. Study it day and night, and make sure that you obey everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful. All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the servant of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work; For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart. Seek your happiness in the Lord and he will give you your heart's desire.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Because God say’s, But I will bless those who put their trust in me. They are like trees growing near a stream and sending out roots to the water. They are not afraid when hot weather comes, because their leaves stay green; they have no worries when there is no rain; they keep on bearing fruit.

LETS PRAY

Create in me a pure heart, O God and renew a steadfast spirit within me. Give me a new heart and put a new spirit in me, remove from me my heart of stone and give me a heart of flesh. I Pray and Believe through your son My lord Jesus Christ, AMEN
